Baroque Lighting_Luminaire

red dot award : product design 2008

Baroque Lighting is a multifunctional and modular luminaire. It is composed of flexible basic elements with a triangular form that can be assembled to complex polygons without using any tools. This allows more combination options which in turn result in a multitude of forms. Thus, geometry becomes a game which motivates individual creativity to adapt the luminaire to different environments and moods. In spite of its playful character it displays an elegant and high-quality impression. It generates a warm light entering into an exciting interplay with the intersecting surfaces. Depending on the luminous intensity of the light source further options of creating new illumination effects turn up. Baroque Lighting can be used as pendant. Additionally, it features a straight-line hold adapting to any kind of luminaire thanks to its reduced form.
