Lisa Dean, an Art Director at an international advertising agency in Malaysia has sent in come concepts she presented to Kotex for a regional specific design:
"These designs were sent to the US headquarters and received rave reviews. The idea behind the ModernAsia 1 and ModernAsia 2 is to showcase a simplified portrayal of the traditional Malaysian, Indian, Indonesian and Thai patterns, whereas Lips are a rather cheeky yet sleek representation of femininity. I also wanted to turn these rather mundane monthly necessity product into something a little more funky, artistic and quirky so that women can bring them to the checkout counters and feel less embarrassed when facing male cashiers."
